Pears

I bought some pears from a guy at work who has apple trees and pear trees and sells them. I thought I’d have a little fun before I eat them and or learn to cook with them. Fun as in photography, some drawings/sketches and maybe some small quick paintings. I need a change in subject matter and what better time than this weekend.
I’ve been very distracted lately. My husband was in the hospital for eight days. ICU. He’s out now. He’s okay. Our life is back to normal and I’m back to work. I’ll throw a word out there like endovascular coiling look it up if interested. It’s a little more complicated. He also has a past titanium heart valve so he has a heart doctor and a brain doctor now. He can never just have an appendicitis or something like that. It has to be stuff that doctors like to write papers about.
That’s my update. Have a nice weekend everyone:)
A foggy and rainy
Sunshine on my mind
I find my happiness where the sun shines
Fly-fishing is solitary
Come sail away with me

Actually, we need to fix the boat.
The last time we were out on the lake
we made a wrong turn and ended up in some
really thick weeds.
We eventually made our way through them,
and back out on the lake.
I cleaned it out good while still on the water,
but I guess some got in where it shouldn’t be.
So, now it will need a new water pump and
while we’re at it we’ll change the gas pump.
Hopefully it will do the job.
We haven’t got out on the lake as much as we usually do.
There’s nothing worse than having a boat
that just sits and doesn’t get used.
You need to run it.
Summers not over yet and when the fall colors start
I want to be there with my camera on the water.
