Our spaghetti night has turned for the better.

I love what Monet, Picasso, Van Gogh and Jesus all said – that love is really the driving principle of the creative act. In fact, they would say that great art is always inspired by love.

Editors can be stupid at times. They just ignore that author’s intention. I always try to read unabridged editions, so much is lost with cut versions of classic literature, even movies don’t make sense when they are edited too much. I love the longueurs of a book even if they seem pointless because you can get a peek into the author’s mind, a glimpse of their creative soul. I mean, how would people like it if editors came along and said to an artist, ‘Whoops, you left just a tad too much space around that lily pad there, lets crop that a bit, shall we?’. Monet would be ripping his hair out.

It was beautiful today.
It was unbelievably quiet.
You should of seen the people fishing.
Some old ladies came out with their fishing poles
sat down put some worms on
and the way they went.
I love this spot.
I take a picture of this place every year.
I never get bored.
The reflections are everlasting.

I enjoy the company of my sister although we disagree about everything.
Except we believe in the art spirit and its one thing that keeps us alive and connected.
Knowing that we are artists gives us hope and a lot to talk about.
When your in the company of great artists much is learned.
I am thinking of starting a salon des Refuse’s.
