Lord of the Flies

Pulled this dragonfly out of the lake while we were swimming.

He dried off on our beach towels.

We placed him in a tree near by

but I never saw him fly away.

A turtle…not a good catch.

We had to cut the line to let him go because he was not cooperating.

Then he got tangles and stuck so we had to scoop him up again and cut the line shorter.

He must have been over 8 pounds and around 14 inches long.

Don’t know my turtles but I was thinking it was a snapper.

This was all we caught today. Not a happy camper.
