‘In the harbor’ oil painting by almostfinnish is on display now at the Plymouth art center. I ran over there to see the artwork before the opening show this week. There was a lot of great works. There was nobody there except the receptionist and a guy playing the piano who was practicing for the show.

Come sail away with me

Actually, we need to fix the boat.

The last time we were out on the lake

we made a wrong turn and ended up in some

really thick weeds.

We eventually made our way through them,

and back out on the lake.

I cleaned it out good while still on the water,

but I guess some got in where it shouldn’t be.

So, now it will need a new water pump and

while we’re at it we’ll change the gas pump.

Hopefully it will do the job.

We haven’t got out on the lake as much as we usually do.

There’s nothing worse than having a boat

that just sits and doesn’t get used.

You need to run it.

Summers not over yet and when the fall colors start

I want to be there with my camera on the water.

The lake was so nice.

Sometimes it’s a little rough

and it agitates me.

I’m only thinking about

keeping everything steady and still.

Instead, I had no fear

and no worries,

and not one fish.
